Young and sophisticated. Stylish and energetic. LAX attracts only the most discriminating clubgoers, A-list celebrities, and the social jet set. With unrivaled décor, a top-tier sound system and impeccable service, LAX is one of the most talked about clubs in the country. The 26,000 square-foot, two-story space is outfitted in rich red leathers and shimmering chandeliers creating a modern and luxurious feel. The VIP area on the second floor features seven luxurious lofts that are seemingly suspended over the main dance floor and come complete with amenities fit for a king. The dance floor is a basic affair – a long rectangle tucked between a VIP booth area and the elevated DJ booth and second VIP area, with a bar and another staircase at the far end.
You can be fairly up close and personal when celeb guests are in town, or just hang to the side at the bar – either way, you’ve got a pretty good view of the rest of the club and opportunity to hear some of the best hip-hop, Top 40 and electronic music your ears can handle. Fans can catch resident DJ Gusto every Wednesdays (LAX’s industry night) and Saturdays. It can get pretty crowded near the bar at times, but don’t fret. If you head all the way through the second-floor hallway, then you’ll find yourself at a second bar with just enough space for dancing and hanging out. If it gets packed, you can easily go down that second staircase and back to the first floor. With these features, it comes as no surprise LAX has seen recent guests like Ice-T, Ginuwine, Talib Kweli and Snooki of “Jersey Shore”.
